We’re proud to celebrate Brandon Ziegenfuss, who has been part of our research team for several years and is now entering the final year of his medical degree in Sydney.

Brandon will return to Brisbane next year as an intern, taking the next step towards his dream of becoming an orthopaedic shoulder surgeon.

Recently, Brandon presented "The Clinical Course and Outcomes Following Arthroscopic Frozen Shoulder 360 Release," a talk based on two studies investigating outcomes following full capsular release for frozen shoulder.

✅ Results showed significant improvements in range of motion and patient-reported outcomes, sustained over 24 months.

✅ The technique demonstrated a strong safety profile with no reported complications.

✅ Comorbidities and symptom duration were not limiting factors in long-term recovery.

We’re excited to see Brandon continue combining clinical insight with research excellence, the perfect foundation for a future in orthopaedic surgery.
