This study analysed data from the Australian Orthopaedic Association National Joint Replacement Registry (AOANJRR) to evaluate whether CT scanning prior to total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA) translates to higher short-term implant survival. It is hypothesized that preoperative CT scanning and accurate identification of shoulder patho-anatomy reduces revision rates as compared to arthroplasty based solely on plain radiographs.
