Dr Andrew Martyn Ker

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Andrew was born in Glasgow, Scotland and obtained his undergraduate medical degree at Edinburgh University, before completing Orthopaedic Specialty Training in the West of Scotland.He completed fellowships in Shoulder surgery and gained vast experience in managing shoulder pathologies under the mentorships of Prof Christian Gerber in Zurich and Profs Ashish Gupta and Kenneth Cutbush in Brisbane before returning to Scotland to undertake a Consultant post in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, UK subspecialising in Shoulder surgery. He is also currently trauma lead for Clyde and has a keen interest in clinical research.
