Dr Keigo Honoki

Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Keigo Honoki is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon from Japan. He completed his undergraduate medical education at Nagoya City University followed by postgraduate training in orthopaedic surgery in Sapporo. After completing the orthopaedic residency, he completed the Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Sports Medicine fellowship at Pan Am Clinic in Winnipeg and orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at Univeristy of Toronto in Canada. He published multiple papers and case reports in the field of shoulder, elbow and sports medicine. He started the Brisbane Shoulder Fellowship in 2025, working with Assoc. Prof Kenneth Cutbush and has joined several shoulder-related research projects. Upon completion of his fellowship in Canada and Australia, he will return to Japan to start his practice with the main focus on shoulder and elbow reconstructions, and comprehensive treatment of sports-related injuries.
